Yacht
Overview
Yacht is a classic dice game for 2-5 players. Roll five dice up to three times per turn, then score in one of 12 categories. The player with the highest total score wins.
How to Play
- Roll: At the start of your turn, all 5 dice are rolled automatically.
- Hold & Reroll: You may hold any dice you want to keep, then reroll the rest. You get up to 2 rerolls (3 rolls total).
- Score: After rolling, choose one unfilled category on the scorecard. The score is calculated based on the dice and the category's rules. You may also score before using all rerolls.
The game lasts 12 rounds (one per category). After all players have filled every category, the player with the highest total wins.

Important Notes
- You must score in exactly one category each turn, even if the score is 0.
- Each category can only be used once per game.
- A five-of-a-kind counts as Four of a Kind (scoring 4 × the face value), but does not count as a Full House.
Alternative Scoring (Variant)
When enabled, the game uses 13 categories with modified scoring:
- Three of a Kind added (sum of all 5 dice when 3+ match)
- Four of a Kind scores sum of all 5 dice (not just the 4 matching)
- Full House scores a fixed 25 points
- Small Straight (any 4 consecutive) replaces Little Straight — 30 points
- Large Straight (any 5 consecutive) replaces Big Straight — 40 points
- Upper Section Bonus: +35 points if the upper section total is 63 or more
